The Walther G22 is a unique semi-automatic carbine chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. Alongside many innovative features, this is Walther’s first .22 "Bullpup" rifle; which means the action and magazine are behind the trigger. The G22 bullpup allows an overall length of only 28.4 inches with a 20 inch barrel. Other interesting features include, an extra magazine compartment contained within the stock, three Weaver rail mounts for supplemental equipment, and a unique buttstock that contains two Allen screws which can be removed so the user can add/remove spacers to lengthen/shorten the buttstock to the desired measurement. The G-22 is generally used by plinkers or on civilian practice ranges as an interesting, yet accurate rifle.
